The collective POKUS – Poetische Kunstkritik Berlin was founded in March 2019. Our aim is to break canonized, hegemonic patterns of thinking in art criticism and therefor, we attempt an art critique that understands itself as post-critical. For us, writing means using the literary, poetic and aesthetic qualities of language to deepen an artistic experience. We hence focus on artistic works, formats and performances that inspire us to write.
